Our Menu

Breakfast

Breakfast is served each morning in our dining room from 8.30am to 10am but should you require it a little earlier or later we will accomodate you.

Our Breakfast Menu Includes:

Choice of juice: Orange, Apple, Grapefruit & Tomato

Cereals: John Gerard's whiskey porridge using Irish whiskey which is the best way we say to start off your day

OR
Mary's Baileys porridge using Baileys Irish Cream Liquer which will also set you up perfectly for the day ahead

OR
We also have a choice of home-made Museli, Cornflakes, All Bran, Rice Krispies and Wheatbix

For The Mains: We serve a traditional Irish Breakfast
Eggs cooked to your liking: fried, scrambled, poached or boiled served with Bacon, Sausage, Tomato and Black & White Pudding

We also serve homemade pancakes with maple syrup as an alternative

For the healthy option we serve a choice of fresh fruit and yogurt

All the above are served with a wide choice of
Herbal Teas/Tea/Coffee/Cappucinno/Hot Chocolate/
Decaffeinated Tea/Decaffeinated Coffee
Brown Bread, Croissants/Toast and Preserves


Dinner

Dinner is served in our diningroom Monday to Friday at a time to suit you.

House Speciality: Mussels

John Gerard's signature dish is Fresh Mussels.
He is a Mussel farmer in the local bay and prides himseldf in the fresh mussels which he grows.
Mary's speciality dish is her Irish Stew made with local lamb.
A definitive version of the national dish.

We provide a Table D'ote menu costing €26.00

Home-masde Scallion and Potato Soup

Deep-fried spicy potato wedges with barbecue sauce on a bed of salad

Fresh Ardgroom mussels in garlic butter

Main Courses

Irish stew pieces of local lamb with carrots, onions and potatoes and a secret mix!!!

Extra large bowl ogf Ardgroom Mussels in garlic butter served with brown bread/garlic bread

Seafood Pie Pieces of fish i.e smoked haddock, sole, prawns or other available fish cooked slowly in a white wine sauce and topped with potato served with salad

Fillets of lemon sole breadcrumbed, deep-fried and served with homemade tartare sauce, french fries and salad

Deserts

At least four choices changed daily.
For example: Baileys bread and butter pudding,
apple/rhubarb crumble, carrot cake
All served with icecream
